DataSeers Named GLOBE Award Winner

Adwait Joshi Accepts GLOBE award on behalf of DataSeers

ATLANTA, Dec. 11, 2019 – DataSeers has been awarded one of three winners for the New To Export category at the 2019 GLOBE awards, presented by the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD).  Georgia Governor, Brian Kemp, presented the Award to DataSeers CEO, Adwait Joshi, “in recognition of the company’s excellence in exporting and commitment to strengthening the State’s economy through continued expansion into new global markets.”

At the GLOBE Awards, the Governor’s office recognized thirty-six Georgia-based companies who had successfully entered new international markets in 2018.  Seventy-two percent of the winners were small businesses with one hundred employees or less.  DataSeers was among the honored few.

Since its establishment in 2017, DataSeers has steadfastly pursued an international presence.  In 2018, the company’s CEO successfully aided in bringing one of DataSeers’ international clients to Georgia, recruiting them to open their first US office in Atlanta, Georgia.  In 2019, DataSeers proudly announced the Grand Opening of its APAC region office, located in Mumbi, India.  This satellite office location houses a portion of the offshore development talent as well as a provides a centralized Asian hub for international business development.  A winner of the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Export Grant, DataSeers has traveled to multiple continents with the support of the GDEcD to represent both the company as well as the State of Georgia at FinTech-focused conferences worldwide.  In 2020, DataSeers will be spending significant time in Singapore to expand business and enter the ASEAN market. 

Of winning the Award, Adwait Joshi says, “The Georgia Department of Economic Development and Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in providing resources and opportunities to DataSeers in the international market. If it was not for them it would have taken years for us to make such an impact. Getting recognized by Governor Kemp was a huge boost for our company. We will continue to make a name for ourselves in the compliance and fraud space.”

Today, 30% of DataSeers revenue comes from international markets and it will continue to grow over the years.
