ATLANTA, Nov. 12, 2019 — John A. Reed, an industry leader with decades of technology management experience, joins the DataSeers team as the company’s newest board member. Reed brings to the table his knowledge and expertise in IT leadership for enterprise architecture and architectural transformation, global software product development, complex systems integration, business development, security and risk management, and technology consulting.

John Reed served as the Global Chief Information Officer for FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc., from July 2013 to November 2019. As CIO, Reed was responsible for all aspects of product development, system development, global infrastructure, acquisition integration, IT operations, information security, communications, contracts, and IT finances.
From 2009 to 2013, John Reed served as Chief Architect for First Data with responsibility for application R&D, company-wide business Intelligence and Big Data management and creating a world-class architecture as a service organization spanning First Data global locations.
Prior to 2009, Reed served as in various senior technology leadership roles for Unisys, Zurich Financial, Bank of America and MBNA. From 1997 to 2000, he was the President and Managing Director for Business Innovations Inc., a financial services technology consulting company.
John Reed has held multiple levels of US government security clearances and won two Federal Technology Leadership awards. His work is published in several professional journals. Recognized for his knowledge and experience, he has spoken internationally on technology and Big Data topics.
